amazing brain

How do you remember your favorite song?

How do you remember phone numbers, names, letters, and the faces of your friends, the way to your house, colors, voices, anything and everything? How do you memorize them? What is the memory?

Why do your eyes blink without you ever thinking about it? Where do dreams come from? And how do you know they are dreams? How do you classify them?

Yesterday you enjoyed the diner with your friends. How do you know it was yesterday and it was a dinner and with your friends? You even remember the taste of every food you had. How? What is a taste? How do you feel that?

How do you walk, dance, eat or sleep? Who is controlling your body while you slip? There are tons of questions like these. From the first instance it seams you do know the answers. Don't you?

In fact it’s not easy to answer to these all questions if you don’t know about structure and function of brain. Your brain is the one responsible for these things and a whole lot more. Your brain is the boss of your body. It runs and controls just about everything you do.

It is more powerful and much faster than any computer you've ever seen or used. Brain is a very sophisticated information processing device.
It looks like wrinkly, gray and as soft as an avocado flesh while can make very hard and strong decisions. It's almost as heavy as a carton pack of fruit juice when you’re young. By the time you're grown up, it will weigh about a large size pizza.

Animals also have brain (nervous systems) which, while differently organized, are fundamentally similar in terms of their basic function. Brain works like a multychannel input/output device - a system whose primary function is to receive, transform, and emit signals (information). We need to understand how our brain is functioning.

Neuroscience - the only way to answer above mentioned questions.
