Brain

The early Greeks thought the brain was the home of soul, rather than mind. They believed that thinking happened somewhere around the lungs! Hahaha!!! What’s a shame!!! Wait! And stop laughing. There is no reason for that. In real life, you probably have noticed that some individuals often think around the lungs or even more lover part of their body but brainJ. Only in seventeenth and eighteenth centuries the brain was seen as an organ of intelligence and thought, as the concept of the mind emerged.

Brain is the most important and the most complex organ among other organs in the human body. For some people brain(head) is the second favorite organ:).Brain controls the function of all organs and regulates virtually all human activity. As it was mentioned also in previous post, brain is made of soft delicate tissue that would be injured by even the slightest pressure. That’s why it is well protected inside your skull. However , your brain is still vulnerable to the damage from inside. The possible cause of damage may be emotions, fear , stress , medications and drugs.

Brain is made of many parts, each of which has a bunch of specific functions to perform. Brain can be divided into four areas: the cerebrum, the diencephalons, the brain stem and the cerebellum. Each part of brain is responsible for very specific tasks. and they act like a highly organized team members. The cerebrum is the largest part of your brain. It sits on top of the rest of your brain, like a mushroom cap covering its stalk. It has a intensively folded grey surface, the pattern of which is different from one person to the next. This is kind of biometrics which are unique for every individual (fingerprints, iris color etc). Let us call it“head prints” or “brain prints” or better “mind prints”:). With the use of modern forms of technology, scientists have been able to look at the brain activity when we perform different tasks. You can lern more about the brain functions here.
