Interesting Places - Galapagos

The Galapagos is a chain of 13 large and 7 small volcanic islands in Pacific Ocean,  laying at 600 miles away the Ecuador coast line. This archipelago has unique ecosystem of diverse array of animals such as blue-footed booby, waved albatross, flightless cormorant, fur seal and sea lion and many-many other endemic species.

The largest island is Isabela, which is a home of five active volcanoes. The most popular and centrally located island is Santa Cruz which is the most human populated among five other islands

Charles Darwin created his revolutionary theory of natural selection after visiting Galapagos. This archipelago is still attracting adventurous travelers and people who like a pristine and exotic world. Giant tortoises have been populating the Galapagos Islands for millions of years.  Galapagos is the Last Natural Place on our planet. We have to save it as a unique World Heritage Site.
