Lake George in upstate New York, referred as Queen of American Lakes, is one of 7 lakes in the world with the same name George(3 in USA, 2 in Canada, 1 in Australia and 1 in Uganda).

Lake George is oriented on south-north direction. It is more than 30 miles long and 1 to 3 miles wide. There are lots of resorts along the west coast of the lake. By the late 19thand early 20th century Lake George was one of the America's elite tourist destinations. Today it’s for all tourists.

Recently we (my family and my friends) had a chance to visit and enjoy the “summer colony” area. It starts from Village of Lake George at the south end of the lake. Here is the satellite image of the motel where we were settled. You can see even the pool.
