What is The Classic Rock


The classic rock includes a number of genres of rock music. Rock is a blend of black rhythm and blues, and white country and western styles of music. Since the definition of rock has not been clearly defined by the music industry, the identification of the classic rock apart from alternative rock is much more difficult. The classic rock more refers to the time of its origin, rather the type, genre or style of rock music. However that's not the only criteria for identification and potentially any rock music may become a classic depending on its popularity in audience
Typically rock music has a striking melody accompanied by guitars, keyboard and drums. This style of music has become very popular soon thereafter the emerging. Beside love, friendship, lifestyle and freedom, rock has been dedicated to express also concerns about the politics through either the lyrics or through the screaming vocal performance. Remember the Vietnam War and the song "Us and Them" of Pink Floyd.

There is large number of famous Rock groups. However the list of top 10 starts from The Beatles, whose leadership isn't questionable. The “concept album” of The Beatles is the actual origin of the classic rock. The second in top 10 is the Rolling Stones, the greatest rock band having the longest run in history of rock. One of the most recognized “Essential Classic Rock” albums is "Sticky Fingers" of Rolling Stones. Everyone knows Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and many other great rock bands whose single tracks or entire albums still are continuously broadcasting by a number of FM radio stations. Actually all of those single tracks and entire albums now we can call a Classic Rock.
